Following the tremendous success of the 2007 Battle of the Briskets and 2008 Tradition with a Twist, The New Shul announces Souper Bowl 2009 - the 3rd Annual Golden Schmaltz Awards.

Join The New Shul community friends at Steven Lyles Village Restaurant for a rollicking soup smack-down. Therell be an open bar, music, raffle and lots of action. Come to eat, come to compete - either way, youll have a souper time!

Winner of the coveted Golden Schmaltz Awards will be chosen by popular votes as well as a panel of Celebrity Judges.

Contestants can enter their spoon-slurping masterpieces in one of two divisions:

Chicken Soup
or
All Other Soups

Bring family and friends, and be sure to wear pants with an elastic waistband!
